Credit Risk Associate

The Credit Risk Associate at Traive plays a pivotal role in facilitating credit processes, ensuring adherence to credit policies, and mitigating risks associated with corporate clients. This role involves conducting credit analysis, guarantee formalization, and monitoring credit cycles to support Traive's mission of expanding access to financial services in the agricultural sector. The incumbent will collaborate with internal teams, provide insights for decision-making, and contribute to the execution of projects aimed at driving innovation and efficiency within the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Process admission, credit analysis, and committee discussion for both individual and corporate clients in alignment with Traive's credit policy and requested operations.
  • Lead the preparation, validation, and formalization of guarantees with the support of legal advisors.
  • Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), address pending issues, conduct follow-ups, and provide reports to stakeholders.
  • Make decisions and resolve issues related to guarantee formalization.
  • Monitor the credit cycle, guarantee performance, and implement collection strategies, recommending and implementing best practices and actions for each case based on complexity and execution needs.
  • Provide feedback on credit platform usage and user experience when requested.
  • Participate in internal and external project discussions and execution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience in credit analysis and risk assessment, preferably in financial services or lending institutions.
  • Knowledge of credit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with legal aspects related to guarantee formalization.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and initiative to drive process improvements.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Certification in credit analysis or risk management.
  • Experience with credit scoring models or software.
  • Understanding of data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry trends and best practices.
  • Fluency in additional languages, particularly Portuguese, for effective communication with local stakeholders.
  • Experience in project management or participation in cross-functional initiatives.
