The Business Development Manager position in São Paulo - Faria Lima (Hybrid) is a pivotal role responsible for driving the growth and success of our organization in the agricultural sector. This role involves establishing strategic partnerships, managing projects, fostering team alignment with the company's vision, and staying informed about market trends. Additionally, the role now encompasses credit knowledge, requiring an understanding of credit processes and leveraging this knowledge to develop innovative financial solutions. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in business development, strong negotiation and communication skills, project management expertise, strategic vision, and a relevant bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Partnership Development:
  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships with key players in the agricultural sector, such as financial consultants, opinion leaders, agricultural input industries, distributors, cooperatives, and associations.
  • Negotiate agreements that drive sales and rapid expansion of the company's offerings in the market.
  • Develop long-term relationships with key partners to ensure successful collaboration.
Project Development and Management:
  • Lead the development and implementation of new business lines, from conception to execution.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams such as product development and technical business areas to ensure the achievement of deadlines and budgets.
  • Monitor project performance and make adjustments as necessary to meet strategic objectives.
Market Analysis and Trends:
  • Stay up-to-date on agricultural and financial market trends and dynamics.
  • Utilize market analysis to identify growth opportunities and adjust our business strategy, promoting actions and projects within the company.
Credit Knowledge:
  • Understand credit processes, including risk assessment, loan origination, and credit analysis, particularly within the agricultural and financial sectors.
  • Leverage credit knowledge to facilitate strategic partnerships and develop innovative financial solutions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development and strategic partnerships, preferably in the agricultural or financial sector.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to successfully lead and manage projects.
  • Strategic vision and market analysis skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, agronomy, or a related field (a master's degree is an advantage).
